Most needed items as of 6 September 2023 and Holiday Plans

 

Note: No added sodium/low sodium, no added sugar/low sugar/sugar free, and low fat/saturated fat food items of all kinds - healthier options are greatly appreciated by our guests with chronic health conditions. Allergen friendly options are also needed for those on restricted diets.

  1. Breakfast cereals of all kinds
  2. Canned / dried fruit - we have raisins, dried cherries
  3. Canned proteins other than tuna or pork, especially chicken
  4. Canned pasta meals (ravioli, spaghettios, beefaroni, etc.) - we have none.
  5. Canned corn, carrots, beets, potatoes
  6. Pasta sauce, tomato sauces, crushed/diced tomatoes
  7. Rice, pasta and flavored rice/pasta mixes
  8. Baked beans, kidney beans
  9. Drinks - water, juice, anything, especially single serve items for grab and go meals
  10. Pantry staples like cooking oil, flour, spices, seasonings
  11. Shampoo/conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, body wash, lotion
  12. Diapers (size 5, 6, 7) and baby wipes
  13. Incontinence supplies for adults, specifically pull on disposable underwear
  14. Period supplies for women and girls
  15. Dog and cat food, cat litter so the furry friends our families love can stay healthy during difficult times too!

We appreciate the calls about Thanksgiving preparations, our annual holiday toy drive and the winter holidays...please stay tuned as we get our plans going!

Due to the large increase in families in need of support through the Community Food Pantry Cooperative, we anticipate the need for additional turkeys for distribution on Friday 11/10/23 and 11/17/23.

Our annual Children's Toy Party with Santa will be held on Saturday 12/16/23 and new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages are despeartely needed before 12/9/23!
