We are currently in need of a short term volunteer to pick up our grocery store donation on Mondays. These donated items are usually in a cart waiting for a quick pick up, and car ride to the Kitchen. If you are interested, please contact the Soup Kitchen or email Kimberly at email@example.com for more details.
Realizing that people can be impoverished physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially and financially, the Covenant Soup Kitchen provides food and access to basic services in an environment of care, love, support and safety to those individuals and families from the greater Windham community who come through our doors. We rely on the generosity of the community and its faith to help us carry out this mission.
Covenant Soup Kitchen is a non-profit organization, which means we rely on help from the general public to aid our guests. We can always use an extra set of hands and a few hours of your time!
Our fifth annual Plunge for Hunger to benefit the Covenant Soup Kitchen. This fiscal year we plan to serve over 140,000 meals to those in need.
