Lunch: Daily, 12-1 pm, take out meals will be distributed at approximately 12:30 pm after guests dining in the dining room are served. To go meals may be served in the dining room or in the cooler outside the double red rear doors of the main building.
Dinner: Friday and Saturday only, 4:15-5 pm. When available, there are also sandwiches, salads and grab and go options in the cooler on Mondays at 4:00 pm because the community meal at another program has stopped serving on Mondays. The new pantry (CFPC) is now open in the house next to the church building! The pantry entrance is through the glass automatic door on the right side of the building, between the house and the garage, or via the access ramp on the far right of the garage, which wraps around the back of garage.
The CFPC is currently open for shopping Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10 am - 3 pm, Tuesday/Thursday 10 am - 2 pm and Saturday 10 am - 1 pm if we have enough volunteer support to keep it open. If our regular pantry hours do not work, please call 860 423 1643 Ext. 13 to make an appointment. We are working to rebuild our team of volunteers to get the CFPC open for more hours and if you would like to help for, please let us know!
Realizing that people can be impoverished physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially and financially, Covenant Soup Kitchen provides food and access to basic services in an environment of care, love, support and safety to those individuals and families from the greater Windham community who come through our doors. We rely on the generosity of the community and its faith to help us carry out this mission.
Covenant Soup Kitchen is a non-profit organization, which means we rely on help from the general public to aid our guests. We can always use an extra set of hands and a few hours of your time!
Please see our Wish List to find out what we most need currently. Monetary donations can be made online, mailed, or brought directly to Covenant Soup Kitchen.
